Pediatric
While many plastic surgeons avoid pediatric cases, Dr. Kiesnowski is particularly dedicated to caring for and solving problems with infants and children such as dog bites and lacerations as well as congenital problems and birthmark removal.
SERVICES
What we offer
Dr. Kiesnowski has treated children of all ages from just a few hours old to adolescents. Treatment of parent’s concerns is as important as the treatment of the child. He takes the time to make sure that both parent and child have a good understanding of what will happen before, during, and after treatment.
Dr. Kiesnowski offers several solutions to removal of birthmarks. Birthmarks can be either portwine or in the coffee-and-cream category.
In addition, Doctor is experienced with removing moles, sunspots, and keratoses.
It is always Dr. Kiesnowski’s goal to remove or minimize the mark with as little disturbance as possible to lessen the chances of scarring or trading one blemish for another.

Dr. Kiesnowski is trained in the treatment and management of burns. During his fellowship at the University of Kentucky he was the supervisor for the regional burn unit and has experience in treating pediatric and adult burns.
Doctor has performed numerous skin, nerve and tissue grafts with equal attention to improving both function and appearance.
Most minor burns can be treated in our office with weekly visits and appropriate wound care. With a team approach and coordination with wound care clinics in the region, many burns can be effectively treated here in the Fox Valley and do not require referral to Milwaukee or Madison.
Cuts or wounds not treated properly can lead to many complications, including serious scarring and deformities.
Dr. Kiesnowski’s philosophy is to treat wounds efficiently and as early as possible. This approach helps to minimize costs and complications and optimizes the outcome.
Dr. Brian is always sympathetic with his little patients and concerned to always provide the most pain-free care.
Dr. Kiesnowski sees a growing number of children and adults who are victims of dog bites. Often, when treated immediately and appropriately, facial scarring can be minimized and healed results can be very good. If you or someone you know is bitten by a dog, please seek medical treatment immediately.
