Pediatric F.A.Q.s

Do you treat moles and other birthmarks? Do you take care of that or do I need to see dermatology first?

We can definitely help you with these common skin concerns.  Often, it is not necessary to see dermatology first but helpful to talk to your pediatrician about your concern before you make an appointment.  Many insurance carriers do not require a direct referral and you can make an appointment directly with our office.  We are very skilled at making even our smallest patients comfortable in our office.  We make every effort to make sure that our office is not a scary place for your child.  Our staff is pleasant and comfortable with helping to make your child's experience a great one.  Dr. Kiesnowski has a great bedside manner with children and can easily win their trust with good communication and explanation of exactly what is happening and what is going to happen.  We want every patient to be happy when they leave - especially our smallest patients.

Does Doctor treat cleft lips or palates?

Yes, definitely! Dr. Brian has performed numerous surgeries successfully correcting these problems. Doctor typically works with a Cleft Team including your family pediatrician, dentist, and a speech/language specialist with additional expertise available as required.
